Flossmoor Veterans’ Memorial

Bennett’s involvement with the Veterans’ Memorial project connects community service with an interest in the built environment. These images document early planning, youth team presentations, community conversations, site visits, and the memorial’s construction.

Following a project from plans to place

As a student ambassador, Bennett co-designed the memorial, supported the community open house, led a $3,000 fundraiser, and helped secure material donations, including stone from a vendor. The photos trace the memorial from early planning and presentations through fabrication, construction, and on-site review.
